TRAUMA HEALING FOR ARTISTS, EDUCATORS, AND WORLD CHANGERS OF ALL KINDS
Remember When Singing Was Fun?
You have worked so hard on your voice. You’ve done everything right. You got the “right” degrees and the “right” audition clothes and your documents are impeccable and your repertoire has been polished to within an inch of its life.
You might even be booking gigs but it just feels… off. There’s no joy in it for you. You’re going through the motions. Music-making feels like a chore - or worse. It’s starting to feel like it’s crushing your soul. And when you stop to think about it, it’s been this way for a while.
You’re not alone. I’ve helped so many singers move through feelings just like this, and I’ve even been there myself.
I’m Emily Koriath, a trained Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and a voice teacher with over twenty years of experience working with singers on their emotional well-being. That’s why I designed Radiant Voice, a unique ten-session healing experience for us to get to the root of this disconnect and help you reclaim your joy.
What My Clients Say
-
"The somatic trauma work I did with Emily helped me navigate a very difficult time in my life. I was able to move anger and trauma through my body in a way I could not access through therapy alone. I credit my work with Emily for helping me move forward into a much happier life chapter."
-Dana Lynne Varga, Performer, Voice Teacher and Career Coach for Musicians
-
“As a music therapist, I love going to Emily for sessions. The voice is such a vulnerable instrument, so I really appreciate working with a teacher who is also a healer. Emily has mastery of vocal technique, holds safe space for emotions, and can help me process any trauma that surfaces while singing. I have a lot of fun with her and also trust that she can go deep with me. She always lets me lead by listening to myself, which helps me feel safe expressing myself fully.”
-Melissa Guttman, MT-BC, LCAT
-
“Emily is the very soul of compassion. She welcomes and skillfully responds to whatever comes in with utmost care and respect. In addition to her deep knowledge of vocal production and technique, Emily is trauma-informed and well-versed in somatic healing, Internal Family Systems as Alexander technique, so a session with her tends to my body, mind, heart, and spirit.”
- Rev. Emily Melcher, Singer/Songwriter, Unitarian Universalist Minister, and Spiritual Director
how does it work?

Radiant Voice is a package of ten (10) one-on-one meetings that begin with an intake session. In that conversation, you get to describe how you’re feeling and what is at the heart of your current frustration. From there, Emily will recommend a course for your remaining nine sessions. These can be a combination of Somatic Experiencing (trauma healing), trauma-informed voice lessons, or directed coaching.
